Dr. LaWanda Hill is a licensed psychologist, consultant, and curator of spaces. She is the owner of Hill Psychological and Consultation Services Corporation and full time psychologist at Stanford University Counseling and Psychological Services Center (CAPS). Dr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the historically black college Southern University and A&M College, a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, and Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston. Dr. Hill curates therapeutic spaces and facilitate healthy dialogue to address areas that are central to identity, and specializes in providing culturally sensitive group work, curated conversations, consultation, and trainings. Regarding consultation, Dr. Hill provides her professional expertise to corporate, education, non-profit, and community based organizations on how to become anti-racist in ethic and practice and non-complicit in anti-black racism. Dr. Hill has been privileged to provide her professional expertise in a number of settings including the University of Houston and Stanford University, the Federal Medical Center- Lexington, Federal Detention Center-Houston, Michael E. Debakey VA Medical Center-Houston, and the Audubon Society. Dr. Hill is oriented to service and dedicated to lending her voice for liberation, empowerment, and advancing social justice.
