We are Vertical Integration. A co-operative effort on behalf of a group of freeheel ski athletes, photographers, writers, filmers, and artists from all walks of life. The original co-founders figured out that we could organize our resources, efforts, and networks to maximize our potential to eek out a living as telemark skiers. For nearly a decade we have been operating in the shadows of the background of the telemark industry quietly supplying content to nearly every industry movie company, publication, and website. We chose to remain relatively quiet with little marketing or fan fair for the group itself and allow the individuals to promote themselves and their own efforts and the group was merely a conduit to do so better and more efficiently. Each member of the group realized that through teamwork everything they were personally trying to accomplish could be done cheaper and more effectively. Out of these ideas the group thrived for nearly a decade bringing us to the present day with the V.I. group expanding to include a new website promoting freeheel skiers and their adventures all over the world in all the seasons we play in.
