Profile PictureLinda Brown

Director of You See Me, Cinematographer & Chair of      Cinematography at USC.  You See Me took almost a decade to make but changed my life in ways I never imagined. I jokingly refer to it as a baby boomer's coming of age story. It has screened throughout the US, Europe, in Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Sudan and won numerous awards. I traveled extensively with it and met many people at the post screening Q & A sessions who shared intimate stories about their families which reinforced my belief that all families have secrets, scars and regrets. For many You See Me let them know they are not alone and it's important and brave to own your story. As Brené Brown said, "When we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write a brave new ending."
